  • If you're concerned about discomfort, consider taking an over-the-counter pain reliever, such as Advil, 30–40 minutes before your appointment.

After Your Wax

  • For the first 24 hours post-wax, avoid using scented lotions or body washes on the treated area.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, saunas, and hot tubs for at least 48 hours after treatment.
  • After 48 hours, gently exfoliate 2–3 times per week to prevent ingrown hairs.
  • For 24–48 hours, avoid activities that cause sweating, such as tight clothing or friction, including exercise and sexual activity.
  • Avoid shaving between waxing appointments. Consistency is key—aim for 4–6 weeks between sessions.
  • Maintain daily skin hydration with products recommended by your esthetician to keep your skin smooth and bump-free.
